Well, to most this may not be such a big secret. There are actually two main whys those outlets stores can offer merchandise 20% to 50% off. Discontinued merchandise – All fashion items go through fashion season. Fall, summer, spring or winter there are cloths for all seasons. This could be pants, shirts, coats anything that is manufactured. But don’t get pissed about this. These items are opportunities to save significant money. And some of the items are not that distressed. Some may just have a stitch that is going the wrong way. Or maybe the pants may say that their supposed to be 42 inches long but are irregular at 41 ½ inches long. Not such a biggy. But big names like Banana Republic will not put this distressed items on their main floor. That is a plus for you and me.

Last but not least are returned items – Now, these items don’t usually end up on the main flow. Occasionally they do. But some do make it to the outlet store. These items are sold to wholesaler, as bulk items are they are featured at other outlet stores. These items are brand new items that may just need another chance. This is just the opportunity that is needed for you and me.
