Perfume is a very personal and individual thing. Cologne has been used over the centuries to inspire, delight, and arouse people sense of smell and thereby other desires of the human body. Another reason people like to wear fragrance is that it makes them feel good about themselves. When using a lotion instead of a perfume, you can pamper your skin as well as get a pleasing fragrance to inhale. The lotion sooths the skin and makes your skin softer to the touch and the scent of the lotion invokes the sense of smell. By using lotion instead of perfume, you can invoke two senses instead of just one, with the same product. Perfume is made up of alcohol, water, floral and fragrance oil. In nowadays odors are used almost by everybody.

A very basic thing to understand about the use of perfume is that all scents are not good for all people. When a proper odor has been found, the person should understand how best to apply the product. Although in ancient times odor was merely the distillation of floral essences, aroma of today is created with both synthetic chemicals and nature based materials derived from either animals or botanical means. When using a new or different odor you should try a floral sample, to make sure you are not allergic to it. It is important that cologne be subtle and not overpowering. Designer knows that people all over the world have certain scents that attract them or will turn them completely off. Even if you have special cologne you wear regularly, you may want to choose something different for your prom. Some of these chemicals can make people ill, as they may suffer from Nausea, Central Nervous System disorders, Fatigue, Drowsiness, Impaired vision, Trouble concentrating and other symptoms or illnesses that may be irritated by using or being in close contact with someone wearing perfume products.

Some cologne contains about 3 to 5 percent aroma oil, odor contains about 15 to 18 percent aroma oil, toilette spray contains about 4 to 8 percent aroma oil and aftershave lotions & splash colognes contains about 0.5 to 2 percent aroma oil. Scented ingredients added to colognes include ginger, grapefruit, musk, peppercorns, mandarin peel, fig leaves, rose, watercress, bamboo, honeysuckle, green tea and etc. Florals and fragrances, best for this purpose, make you enticing with the heavenly aromas. It is inclusive of different perfume product produced by different manufacturers to satisfy the requirements of the men and women. Spring fragrances are light and floral. The time of year for romance and weddings, makes you think of Britney Spears and Ralph Lauren Romance. Perfume refers to the strongest, and longest lasting, type of body scent. Most floral are layered scents, meaning they contain a combination of different fragrances. These layers of scent are called notes in the industry, and they are not chosen at random. Perfumes have three notes. The first, comprised of the strongest odors, is also the shortest lasting. These are the floral that you will smell when you first put on the scent, but they will usually wear off within a few hours, exposing the next layer.
