Domestic skincare ingredients for eczema sufferers

Eczema is an inflammation of the skin and is associated with an allergic reaction. Eczema is also a very persistent itchy skin condition and is associated with skin dryness and skin inflammation.

Eczema suffers have to be cautious of the type of skin care and cosmetic products they use, in an effort to curb any possibility of aggravation of their already-sensitive skin. It doesn't help that commercially available skin care products contain many different type of chemicals and hence, it may be a logical step to attempt a>home made skin care products which can be easily made at home using common and inexpensive kitchen ingredients.

For example, coconut oil, in particular virgin coconut oil is an inexpensive and good home remedy for eczema sufferers.

Unprocessed organic virgin coconut oil is especially good and will soothe the area on which it is applied onto.

Other than unprocessed, organic virgin coconut oil, another good kitchen ingredient eczema sufferers can utilize is baking soda. Eczema sufferers can find comfort in a baking soda bath and oatmeal, which have anti-inflammatory properties can also be used in conjunction with the baking soda to further soothe the itchiness experienced by eczema sufferers.

Eczema sufferers can bathe in soda baking water before sleep. This is a good alternative to using deodorants for absorbing sweat, which can trigger itchiness, because of the chemical components in deodorants.
