Your pair of contactlens needs to be handled very carefully. Whenever you touch them, you should wash your hands with antibacterial soap and dry them with a lint-free towel. After removing the lenses, you must clean them with the solution that came with them. The bottle containing the solution should not touch any surface, including your skin. Never swap your contactlenzen or cleaning solution with that of another person.

It's better to choose your contactlenzen depending on your lifestyle. If you are a busy professional who doesn't have time to maintain the regular care routine, you should choose daily disposable lenses which are to be discarded every day or extended wear contactlenzen which can be worn for two to three weeks at a stretch. You can also sleep while wearing the extended wear lenses.

If you have an eye disease like astigmatism, you should go for Toric lenses. They provide good vision clarity and comfort and cure the disease as well.

If you are looking for excellent clarity of vision, GP lenses are just for you. Gas permeable lenses are made of a semi-rigid material that allows more oxygen to pass into the eyes. But it takes time to adapt to GP contactlens.

If you don't have any eye problem whatsoever, but still want to wear contactlenzen to change the look of your eyes, go for cosmetic lenses. They don't need a doctor's prescription, are quite affordable and do no harm to your eyes. Cosmetic contactlens can enhance the look of your eyes in such a way that you yourself will be charmed with the mesmerizing beauty of your eyes. Once you've used a pair of cosmetic contactlenzen, you'll want more as there are a countless number of varieties of them.

Some varieties of the cosmetic lenses include dual-color and single-color contactlens. The dual color contactlens provide more enhanced color for your eyes. Your eyes look more attractive with these lenses on.

On the other hand, single-color contactlenzen add a dash of sparkle into your eyes, making them look brighter and more alive.

When you insert contactlenzen you should:

* Wash, rinse and dry your hands properly to make them bacteria-free.

* Put the lens onto your palm and pour the fluid in the lens.

* Place the cup side out.

* Separate your upper and lower eyelid with two fingers of the other hand.

* Gently put the lens onto your cornea.

* Close your eyes and open it after a few minutes to look for any vision blurring.

* If it blurs, put a few drops of the fluid on the lens. When you take off your contactlens, you should:

* Lean to face the floor.

* Put one hand underneath your eyes as if to catch a ball.

* Move your fingers in an upward and downward direction to get the lens out from the eyes.

* Clean with the disinfecting solution or fluid before putting your lenses back in the case.
