Simple hair care for men - Some tips for better styling

Men's hair style and hair care have become like women's hair care and hair style. Some years ago if any male person was heard to talk about hair care and grooming then it was a topic of laughter. But now the picture is changed. Now a day men are more conscious about their looks and styles than before. They care a lot about their appearances. They are conscious about more and more styling products as they want to look like models. They are becoming modernized in their hair style and as well as in their entire styling. So they are trying several techniques just to have a desired look. It can be metro sexual look; it can be rough and tough look or retro sexual look. Going to a salon is no more a weird thing. Shaping eyebrows or having a facial is now so common even in a small town. Coloring up hair and flaunting new styles are also done by everyone. In 21st century you have to be updated about your looks and styles if you want to experiment with your hair.

To start your hair style you have to look at your hair care first. Hair is everything that you need to have for the styling for your hair. So determine what type of hair you have. Oily, normal and dry hair the three types of hair that we have. Oil glands are thick in oily hair type; oil glands are small and inactive in dry hair type and normal hair is devoid of any problem. So use the appropriate shampoo and conditioner for your hair. For dry hair conditioner is very much important and useful because it repairs the dryness of hair and brings back the smoothness of your hair. Always rinse your hair after applying shampoo and conditioner completely. If you do not do that it will give you an itchy scalp and dry hair. You can use warm water for shampooing but for conditioner it is better to use cold water. Massage the scalp gently and than rinse completely. Always massage with your finger tips but not with your nails. Do not use the conditioner in the hair roots as it can cause hair fall. Just apply it on your hair and after 3-4 minutes wash it thoroughly. Hot water and cold water help the scalp to be toned up.

After washing dry your hair with a soft towel. The final step is combing. Now comb your hair softly and gently. Make your hair free of tangles and frizzes. Brushing can destroy some hair follicles but combing is better than that. A wide toothed comb is good to use. Downward combing with a wide toothed comb is healthy.

For styling materials you can opt for styling gels, creams and mousses are just a few to name. Squeeze a small amount of these products on your palm and then use it as per your need. Trim your hair every six weeks. Trimming can help you to get rid of the split ends.
