Sunglasses or sun glasses are a visual aid, variously termed spectacles or glasses, which feature lenses that are colored or darkened to prevent strong light from reaching the eyes. In the early Twentieth century they were also known as sun cheaters.
Sunglasses can improve visual comfort and visual clarity by protecting the eye from glare.[5] Various types of disposable sunglasses are dispensed to patients after receiving mydriatic eye drops during eye examinations.
These days, just about everyone wears sun glasses: man and woman, adult and child, even pets! For some people, they’re a necessary part of the wardrobe and their “look” wouldn’t be complete without a pair. In fact, many people have several pairs, so that they’ll have at least one to complement whatever outfit they are wearing for the day or night.
For the sake of money, virtually every individual can buy a pair of dark black replica designer sunglasses which not only give their eyes the protection needed from the sun but make them feel like they have something in common with the dashing action heroes they see in the movies.
Many people find direct sunlight too bright to be comfortable. During outdoor activities, the human eye can receive more light than usual. Healthcare professionals recommend eye protection whenever outside to protect the eyes from ultraviolet radiation, which can lead to the development of a cataract. Excessive exposure to ultraviolet radiation (UV) can cause short-term and long-term ocular problems such as photokeratitis, snow blindness, cataracts, pterygium, and various forms of eye cancer.

When shopping for a pair of shades, don’t just consider how stylish they will look. Make sure to prioritize those that offer 100% ultraviolet or UV protection because these will completely block ultraviolet rays from your eyes. Sunglasses should pass the ANSI Z87.1 requirements and offer UV protection. Also, eye experts recommend buying protective eyewear having lenses that are colored green, brown, or gray since they filter out UV rays so much better. And in order to maximize protection, go for wrap-around pairs, or those with lenses that completely cover and closely hug the eye area. Since wrap-around shades fit snugly over the skin around the eyes, they are more effective in preventing UV rays from entering from the top or the sides of the glasses.

People may also wear sunglasses to hide dilated or contracted pupils or bloodshot eyes (which would reveal drug use), recent physical abuse (such as a black eye), or to compensate for increased photosensitivity. Fashion trends are another reason for wearing sunglasses, particularly designer sunglasses. People with severe visual impairment, such as the blind, often wear sunglasses in order to avoid making others uncomfortable — not seeing eyes may be better than seeing eyes which seem to look in the wrong direction. Those whose eyes have an abnormal appearance (for example due to cataract) or which jerk uncontrollably may also do so.
Everybody loves a good bargain. So often we find something that is of superb quality, but which is priced affordably. Such a thing can be said of discount sunglasses. The sports eyewear is known for its high quality and excellent designs, so getting them at a lower price is really something of a bargain.
