Unwanted or undesired hairs are the result of hormonal causes. With our ages growing the growth of hair also increases. Not only the growth of hair but graying of hair, hair loss or hair fall and growing of unwanted hair are also the changes that we faces. Now the problem with our unwanted hairs is we want to remove these parts of our body as they are detrimental for our becomingness and elegance. Cultural concern is also attached to it. In some countries in Mediterranean regions getting rid of unwanted hairs is not so much important but in Middle East and in America this problem is so much concerned and get importance from women. It is their one of primary concerns dealing with beauty problems. Now we generally decide that hairs of our legs, hands, underarms, fine hairs on the upper lip and around the hairline on the sides of face which is known to us as sideburn areas are unwanted hairs. But hairs on some other places are also falls in this category. Thick bushy eyebrows are also thought to be unwanted hairs and falls in this category. There are also some not so common examples. Such as excessive hair around the nipples, on the face (commonly around the chin or as an extension of the hairline), and thick body hair on the torso (often an extension of the pubic hair line) or back, or "male-patterned" hair elsewhere on the body is considered to be abnormal hair growth for women. But they are as normal as your wanted hairs.

The ways of getting rid of these hairs are enormous. They are Lasers, electrolysis, waxing, shaving, plucking or chemical depilatories. The temporary methods are cutting, threading, shaving or trimming, chemical depilatories, friction, and tweezing, waxing, rotary epilators. These are all conventional and traditional temporary methods of hair removing. They are temporary because they remove hairs for certain time not for a long time rather for permanent.
Cutting is used for removing long hair or for trimming long hairs. It is surely a temporary method. Threading is also called ‘fatlah' or ‘khite'. In this process a twisted thread catches hairs when it is rolled across the skin. It is used as a common way of removing hairs from your mouth and plucking eye brows. Shaving or trimming is usually done with the electric shavers. A chemical hair remover which is known as chemical depilatories is actually creams or ‘shaving powders' which chemically dissolve hair. Friction is a way which is used to buff away hairs. If you epilate your hair by the method of tweezing then it may last for several days and several weeks. Waxing is traditional and used process for getting rid of unwanted hairs. A hot or cold layer of wax is applied on the particular area and then hairs are removed with porous strips. Rotary epilators rapidly grasp hairs and pull them out by root. On the other hand there are some permanent processes that work good and those are lasers therapy, electrolysis and Prescription Topical Preparation (vaniqa).
