Why Is Cosmetic Surgery So Expensive?

Submitted by gnubas

Think you already know what this subject is all about? Chances are that you do not, but by the end of this article about cosmetic surgery, you will!

One of the greatest shows about cosmetic surgeons is the “Nip Tuck.” please tell me you caught the last episode this year! It was amazing. Granted this show can get a little obscene, but the concept is phenomenal and those who participate are superb. It focuses on the lives of two plastic surgeons, and how messed up things can get. While some may think the show promotes cosmetic surgery for anyone anytime, I think it does the opposite. It shows how little can be achieved by cosmetic enhancement. And sometimes much is even lost. Call it a contemporary take on beauty.

As we take a closer look, keep in mind all of the useful and important information that we have learned so far.

Recently my wife came to me and said she was getting rhinoplasty done also known as a nose job. She said she had already contacted five cosmetic surgeons and told me that she’s having the surgery done next month. Aaarrgghh. That was pretty much my reaction. Now I know that she has mentioned potential cosmetic surgery for her nose in the past, but this hit me tremendously hard. How am I supposed to respond to such an annoying comment? And more importantly, what is this going to cost? When I what it the cost was, she said 3,000! Three grand is definitely NOT some extra cash we have lying around. Did she really contact many cosmetic surgeons or just one? Regardless, she responded with the classic female routine of “I’m angry and emotional, so don’t mess with me.” Any guys out there ever encountered that reaction? Yeah, it gets old, doesn’t it?

The decision to have a cosmetic surgery for any aspect of your face or body is a huge one. Think carefully before you jaunt off to some expensive doctor and have plastic surgery done. Not only can it cost a bundle, but it also has potential ramifications. Things CAN go wrong. This brings me to my next point. Search high and low to find the absolute best and highest recommended plastic surgeon around. This is, after all, cosmetic surgery for your image. The last thing you want is to be on one of those talk shows telling about what went wrong.

If you could take the main ideas from this article about cosmetic surgery and put them into a list, you would a great overview of what we have learned.
