Baltimore Man Awarded $15.3M in Asbestos Cancer CaseSubmitted by justice Mon, 9 Mar 2009
A sealant company in Baltimore was recently ordered by a jury to pay a man $15.3 million in an ongoing asbestos cancer case.
The company was found to be responsible for the mesothelioma cancer the man developed while employed with them. Asbestos Cancer Exposure at Work Leads to Illness George J. Linkus was previously employed at John Crane Inc., where he worked on lining valves. At the age of 73, he was diagnosed with mesothelioma cancer and the jury found that the man’s former employer was at fault.
