Abdominal pain is a widespread complaint of children, particularly in the age group between 5 to 10 years. It is predictable that about 10% to 18% of school going children undergo from regular pain in the abdomen.

The treatment of abdominal pain in children will depend upon the basic causes. Half teaspoon of fresh ginger juice, mixed with half a teaspoon of honey constitutes as a successful herbal medicine for treating this situation in children. It should be taken 2 times daily.

Coriander is one more effective home remedy for abdominal pain, take place from digestive disorders. One teaspoon of coriander juice, added to 1/2 glass of fresh buttermilk may be given to the child two times daily in treating this situation. Chutney made from dry coriander, green chilies, grated coconut, ginger and black grapes, without seeds, is also helpful in abdominal pain due to indigestion and can be given to the child in small quantities.

The hotness of the water should be increases after the patient enters the bath, as hot as can be borne, say 100 degree to 120 degree F.
