The term of cholesterol applies to two types: low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and high-density lipoprotein (HDL). These are often called "bad" cholesterol and "good" cholesterol. Along with triglycerides and Lp(a) cholesterol (a derivative of LDL cholesterol), comprise your body's total cholesterol count, which is evaluated through a blood test. Chelation therapy is being used to effectively reduce cholesterol and the plaque that leads to heart disease.

A high cholesterol content is one of the characteristics of the most delicious food items you can include in your diet. Although most people know they should limit their intake of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol type foods, the fact that it is actually occurring substance in the body makes it difficult to resist the temptation and indulge once in a while.

Cholesterol combines with calcium carbonate to form a plaque lining inside the blood vessels and it becomes increasingly difficult for your body to maintain the proper flow of blood and nutrition delivery to the organs of the body. Most of the heart disease conditions as they are beginning at this point.

The mortality rate in Western countries that are attributed to heart disease far exceeds the rate of deaths caused by cancer. In fact in the USA approximately 30% of mortalities are related to heart ailments and this number increase when the other deficiencies in the cardiovascular system are included.

To effectively remove plaque from blood vessel walls, chelation therapy is the most productive solution. The chelation process provides your body with the elements that can bind and remove heavy metals from the bloodstream.

Chelation therapyhas been used successfully in the treatment and prevention of atherosclerosis because of a synthetic amino acid called "EDTA" or EthyleneDiamine Tetra-acetic Acid. In many cases it is administered intravenously, but it can also be taken in a liquid or gel capsule form. As a preventive measure against atherosclerosis, this the most common form of Chelation therapy.

In chelation therapy, the breakthrough formulation of EDTA with royal jelly, honey, vitamins and minerals that was easily absorbed into the bloodstream that made history. The original oral chelation formula has become known as the most effective brand of over-the-counter chelation therapy.

Today the original oral chelation formula has been improved through the addition of Sodium HexaMetaPhosphate ("SHMP"), plant sterols (fats found in plants), and serrapeptase enzymes ("Serrazymes"). In this enhanced formula the plant sterols assist the body in reducing cholesterol absorption and production while the chelating agents strip away the calcified plaque, along with the toxins and heavy metals contained within it, this allows the body to flush these harmful substances out through the urine.

Using oral chelation products can provide your cardiovascular system with additional support it needs by reducing the threat level of atherosclerosis by removing calcified plaque from blood vessel walls.
