Traditional home remedies for diarrhea exist for many generations and for different cultures. You can bet that since diarrhea is a very common experience, previous generations would have found remedies for relief. These home remedies for diarrhea are worth investigating so that there is really no need to turn to drugs for treatment. In most cases, these natural methods can help to ease symptoms with fewer risk. You may have remembered having used these traditional home remedies when young. Stress: although most do not realize it, diarrhea can be due to stress. Although most people do not associate this as being associated with diarrhea, stress can speed up the peristaltic motion of the intestine so that it does not have time to absorb the fluid that it should, hence leading to soft or watery stool. Anxiety and depression can cause similar symptoms, and some home remedies for diarrhea are in fact known for their antidepressant and stress relief properties. Ginger can also help in relieving the symptoms of diarrhea, especially stomach cramps and pain. Ginger may come in the form of tea or capsules. Equal parts of ginger powder, cumin powder, and cinnamon powder, can ease the accompanying symptoms of diarrhea. Diarrhea can be inconvenient and when you find yourself suffering from it, try taking some brown vinegar. While it doesn't have the most pleasant taste, in most cases it will do the trick. Plus you probably aren't having to cabinet so you won't have to run out to the store in between bouts of diarrhea to buy some prescription medicine. Dogs are notorious for eating bacteria laden morsels out of garbage cans, or found while out on a walk. Dogs off leash are more likely to drink from a stagnant puddle. A few slurps is all it takes! Puddles can be toxic cocktails containing anything from bug larvae, discarded food morsels, infected spittle, leaked automobile fluids like transmission oil, or antifreeze. Some children get diarrhea as a result of poor toilet hygiene when they are being potty trained. This can be very upsetting for them but bananas are a great hand held convenience remedy that can be popped in the handbag for outings or easily purchased in an emergency. Most cases of diarrhea occur after eating infected food. The cause may be inflammation of the large intestine which normally clears up within a day or two. More prolonged attacks can be serious and frail people such as babies and elderly people are particularly at risk, as fluid loss can lead to severe dehydration. Boil raw bananas and peel them. Put some ghee in a vessel and put some pieces of cloves in them. Put the bananas in them. Then introduce curds, coriander, turmeric and salt. This will be a very tasty banana dish which has special effects on the treatment of diarrhea.
