How to Build MusclesSubmitted by remediesathome Wed, 5 Aug 2009
We all dream of getting the perfect body. Of course, the "perfect body" is just about the most ambiguous term in existence. Bodybuilders consider themselves the height of aesthetic perfection, whereas many others consider their look to be inflated and distasteful.
Today, with the advancement of technology, researchers and scientists have found different kinds of body building supplements that can assist you get a perfectly healthy and great looking body. When combined with proper exercise and weight training, you can be sure that you will achieve great results on your body. Today's diet industry grosses billions of dollars every year with everyone trying to lose weight. As we all know, the overwhelming majority of them fail. What we also know, is that most of these diet plans do not even correspond to what we know scientifically about the body and how it works to keepor lose fat weight. So how is it that regardless of these facts, there are still a number of people who do manage to actually use these programs and lose the weight? So, what's the answer? Who do you believe? Is this for convenience or is there a commitment? In order to succeed there are a few parameters that I believe are the main components of any successful diet program. Bottom line is that muscle development comes from the training you do, not the supplements you take, or the food you eat. Think about it - if you are a couch potato eating the perfect muscle building diet, you are just not going to create the right body shape now, are you? Research done on human anatomy, classic art sculpture, and the psychology of attraction tells us that there is a specific body shape and size that people will find most attractive and pleasing to look at. People that are close to this ideal size are generally treated more favorably, because we live in a society that is driven by beauty and perfection. However it is important to note that if your resistance training is all on machines, you're not getting the best results you could. In addition if you focus the majority of your training on single-joint exercises such as arm curls, tricep presses, leg curls etc then you're not getting the best results. Male swimmers are characterized as having the broad masculine shoulders and an overall V-shape. These are not such attractive traits in female swimmers as it can look out of proportion. Our attraction to another person's body increases if that body is symmetrical and in proportion. Scientists believe that we perceive proportional bodies to be healthier. The most effective way to lose that fat and let your abs shine through is to set an effective work out routine that will both burn calories and build muscle. I recommend free weights at the gym, or if you don't have a membership doing basic variations of push-ups that utilize your body weight will work just as well. Do you know that engaging in light exercises is often the key to acquiring that new and lean body? In fact, stretching, walking, and light exercises can remake your body. I am talking about using light weights such as dumbbells that weight less than three pounds. I am talking about going for 12.5 minute walks instead of walking for two hours every single day except for Sunday..
