Electric Shaver Information

Submitted by wm009

I wanted to talk to you about shaving with an electric groomer. I know there are many people out there that hold a very negative view of this type of shaving. There is a lot of incorrect facts out there and a lot of poor information being used. I remember one of the first things I heard was that an electric shaver isn't going to give me a nice shave. This was correct when this type of razor first came out, but the technology has come so much in the last few years that you can get a close shave. I thought it was important for me to show you the advantages of grooming with an electric shaver.

I think the best part is that they have advanced from the foil heads and started to use rotary heads. Foil is just a technical word for stationary, where rotary bends and moves with the curves on your face. I suppose the fact that the head was stationary on old products is the reason that people got average shaves. When you were going around the curve on your chin, you would have had difficulty getting a nice shave. Now with the rotary head you shouldn't have a problem at all.

Another positive of this is simply money. I know a lot of you think that electric shavers are expensive, but when you compile the cost of replacing your disposable razors and shaving gel, you're paying more. All electric shavers function on unlubricated skin, so you don't need to buy anything. Replacing the actual blade is something that you do once a year, rather than weekly with regular shavers.
