Keeping Healthy While Eating Out For God's People

When you receive the Seal God will show you how to eat healthier foods. When you are sealed you belong to God, and He wants you to be as healthy as possible. A new book can help you eat healthy foods, especially if you eat out a lot.
The book is The Stop & Go Fast Food Nutrition Guide by Steven G Aldana, PhD. It has color-coded foods in all the national-chain restaurants so they are red, yellow, and green. Red is for "Stop!" Yellow is for "Caution!" And green is for "Go!"
As Steven Aldana explains in the book there is one single weapon of the enemy brandished in most restaurants. And it is not only aiming at you. Most often this weapon meets its mark, and will soon end your life if you do not fight back.
This weapon is trans fats. Oils that are natural are chemically altered so they become "partially hydrogenated." It gives them longer shelf-life and thus they can be sold cheaper. And cheaper makes them attractive for most companies.
But trans fats are some of the worst foods you can possibly eat. This has led to required labeling of foods with trans fats in the grocery store aisles. But there is no such requirement for foods sold in restaurants since it is sold hot.
So you do not know how much trans fats companies are using. But they are using much more than you think. It is simply much easier to use these fats as cooking oil since they do not need to be replaced as often as healthier natural oils.
But God created natural oils and their nutrition is perfect for you. And though natural oils should still be consumed in moderation, they are a much healthier alternative for you than anything altered or processed.
The Stop & Go Fast Food Nutrition Guide has cataloged all the major restaurant chains in the US. The guide is very useful for anyone who eats out a lot. When you see a red food, you know to stop. And when you see a yellow food, you should not eat much of it.
But when you see green foods, you know you can eat them without having any crisis of conscience. The book has also summarized its results, ranking a number of popular restaurants from worst to best.
The very worst is the breakfast specialty, namely Denny's and Waffle House. Next is "traditional" fast food with high amounts of menu items fried in trans fats: Burger King, KFC, and McDonald's.
Mexican foods follow with contenders like Taco Bell, Del Taco, and Taco John's. A little better for you is Italian food at places like Sbarro. Pizza at Pizza Hut is increasing on the healthy scale.
Better yet are some traditional fast-food restaurants that do not use any trans fats to fry with. These "good" companies include Chick-fil-A and In-N-Out. Healthier still are the healthy asian foods found at Panda Express, which does not use any trans fats for frying.
The top-o-the-heap as the best are sandwich shops like Subway and Blimpie, and the Boston Market. At Subway for instance you can order vegetables on your sandwich if you want them. And God wants you to have them.
God wants you to live a long, healthy life. He created many delicious and satisfying fruits and vegetables for you to eat, as well as making many leaves and other flora edible for you.
Receiving the Seal is just the beginning. God gives you life, and He expects you to nourish yourself properly as He provides for you. If you eat out at restaurants a lot, or even just once in a while, this can show you how to get a little closer to God.
