Eyes are said to be one of the most sensitive organs of our body. To enhance the beauty of your eyes and get maximum out of them we need to give them extra care including proper rest and sleep and eating right food to increase their sight and flexibility. But its really sad to say that in todays world, we have forgotten the real importance of our eyes and this is resulting in numerous problems relating to eyes. Dark circles under eyes is the major problem that is disturbing everyone.
Dark circles are not a medical concern, but they can be very annoying and embarrassing. Almost everyone gets dark circles under eyes at some time or the other, and they are usually temporary. They are the second highest dermatological problem.Dark circles are socially very embarrassing - they make a person look older, tired, stressed and even depressed. Dark circles under the eyes, and the puffiness, or bagginess associated with them is a cosmetic problem which many people share. There appear to be several causes of dark circles under the eyes. Tiredness, fluid retention, dehydration, genetics and hyperpigmentation are just a few of them. As there are so many causes, or possible causes of dark circles under the eyes, there are many different treatments recommended for them. Home Remedies for Dark Circles Cucumber Juice- Make two cotton pads and dip them in cucumber juice for some time. Place these cotton pads on your eyes for 15 minutes as this will give a cooling effect and will relax your eyes. You can also keep your eyes covered with cucumber slices for some time. It is one of the most effective home remedies for dark circles. Using Almond Oil Almond oil as we know is an excellent natural emollient and its fine texture and moisturizing properties are perfect for any skin type. For that reason many cosmetic products use Almond oil/extracts for their anti dark circles products.Almond oil is readily available. Carefully rubbing a little amount in to the skin around your eyes every day in the morning and in the night before going to bed should leave the skin softer and more supple. Ice Cubes: When you get in from the hot sun eyes tired and bloodshot. You also develop dark circles and shadows due to heat and pollution. Try this : wash your face. Take some ice cubes and wrap them in two pieces of muslin. Lie down and shut your eyes. Place one ice cube pack over each eye, rubbing gently. This will immediately ease the 'burnt up' skin feeling. Regular use helps to lighten the dark circles under the eyes or to get rid of dark circles under eyes or around eyes. Eating a healthy, balanced diet is also important, and of course not only relates to eyes but the whole body. This is also true for drinking plenty of water to help improve circulation. If you smoke, the blood vessels can appear more prominent and bluer, so quitting smoking is recommended, for general health also.
