Absence of Keratectasia After Lasik in Eyes With Preoperative Central Corneal Thickness of 450 to 500 Microns. Andrew Caster, MD and associates analyze results of Lasik in patients with thinner than average corneas. Dr. Andrew Caster and his associates found that there was no evidence of keratoconus in this study population. This study by Andrew Caster, MD and associates has been widely quoted by eye doctors around the world.
