I had been an athlete all of my life, but when I hit that magic age of 40, I decided that being athletic was not going to cut it any more. I had gotten by for all of my life without any special diets or work out regimens. I had stayed somewhat physically fit by staying active and playing sports, but not with any sort of a plan. That all changed when I turned 40. I realized that my days of competitive sports were over, and if I didn't make a committment, I would be adding body fat(I had actually already started to). There are many reasons for staying physically fit, but I am most concerned about health.
