What Is All This About Candida Albicans

Submitted by Wangeci

Candida Albicans should not cause any confusion to you privileged reader since it is just medical terminology referring to a fungus that causes all yeast infections. I will not contemplate so much on how they came up with this botanical name, to baptize the yeast fungi because this will not address your agony on your genital parts. This fungus is believed to naturally inhabit inside our bodies so harmlessly and unless provoked, they cause no quarrel.

Typically a woman's vagina is said to be a reverie home for the yeast infectious fungi and because of the naturally acidic environment of the vagina, the number of yeast is restricted. Nevertheless, if the acidic pH level slump down, the incidence of yeast may increase, causing a vaginal yeast infection. The Candida albicans are not only passionate about thriving in a woman’s vaginal parts but it could also be found living in our mouths and skin without us being conscious that our bodies are potential campsites for the ‘displaced’. Is it not ironic that these ungrateful yeasty refugees will not hesitate to devour the same human flesh offering a 'supposed' home for the homeless?

However, it should be clear that Candida albicans can affect anybody although women are understood to be mainly vulnerable to these ruthless fungi. When the body portrays some triggering factors favorite for yeast multiplication, they literally forget the concept of family planning and the outcome is a huge population of buoyant yeast fungi. These then start biting the ladies spongy and sensitive skin at their cheeks but most precisely their exit point due south.

There are many ways that describes how one could catch this Candida albicans. The most noticeable one is sexual indulgence with yeast infected partners. Since women are feared to be possible carriers, their captivating husbands will always be vulnerable to inheriting some of these after a steamy sex session with their wives. But it should also be noted that cheating spouses or people having multiple sex partners for fun stand high chances of getting infected.

Others ways in which this Candida albican can cause horrible yeast infections in our bodies include use of steroids, antibiotics, contraceptive pills, and some feminine deodorants and antiperspirants. Woman who are menopausal or pregnant stand high opportunity of catching it frequently. There are still other studies that blame over sweating, poor body hygiene and tight wear to cause yeast Candida overgrowth.

The best ways to combat the yeast Candida albicans is to seek medical advice so that you can get the best prescription to use. One could also buy over the counter drugs or even opt for home remedies which could be used gently at home. Some of these include garlic, cranberries, and yogurt. It is also important to make sure that one is good groomed as a daily routine, to clean that sweat up and also wear loose clothing, avoid feminine sprays and irresponsible sexual behavior. This way one could at least prevent these Candida albicans from overgrowing and causing yeast infection that might be recurrent.
