Over Menstrual Bleeding, How to Stop Over Menstruation

Submitted by Dr. Mital John

Heavy menstrual bleeding is an ordinary cause of iron deficiency anemia and may affect a woman's quality of life. After endometrial ablation, women usually can't get pregnant, but you can't be certain of that until you reach menopause. Prior to the procedure, doctors usually set down progesterone or the drug Lupton to thin the uterine lining.

Menorrhagia or Hypermenorrhea is the condition which can result in excessive bleeding either in number of days or amount of blood or both. Almost every woman at some time in her reproductive life experiences heavy bleeding during her menstrual period. Heavy menstrual bleeding can be more than just a bummer. It can disrupt your life and make work as well as play a whole lot harder. If your periods are heavy, first check with a doctor just to make sure there is no medical problem that needs to be addressed efficiently.

Menstrual Bleeding Problem Reasons: -

• Premenstrual Tension
• Dysmenorrhoea
• Stress
• Change in exercise routine or diet
• Uterine fibroids
• Stoppage of Menstrual Flow
• Pregnancy complications
• Recent weight loss or weight gain

Heavy menstrual bleeding is common during menopause, but is usually easy to treat. As the hormones begin to change as women get older, periods begin to become less frequent, and often times the bleeding becomes heavier. Luckily, natural remedies can help to prevent and treat this common problem. These can also be used to help reduce your regular menstruation before menopause as well.

Over Menstrual Bleeding Treatment: -

• Iron supplements. If the condition is accompanied by anemia, your doctor may recommend that you take iron supplements regularly. If your iron levels are low but you're not yet anemic, you may be started on iron supplements rather than waiting until you become anemic.
• Many women experience pain or discomfort at the time of their periods. For most, the pain or unease is not so severe that it interferes with their daily lives.
• Period pain are only sometimes a sign of others disease, like cyst growth, cold ovary or womb, obstructed flow and others complications.
• Some women their monthly period is problematic and almost disabling because of the pain and inconvenience caused. They may have to take time off from school or work and stay at home for one or two days.
• If period pains are more than an inconvenience then it is wise to take some herbal treatment.
• Whenever vitamin A is ended, vitamin E should be taken, also, to prevent overly rapid breakdown of the vitamin A. I usually recommend 400 units of vitamin E daily.
