To clean marble, there are steps that must be implemented. Same with any other processes, those steps must be executed effectively to make the entire cleaning work. Failure to complete all those steps will no doubt affect the outcome of the process in one way or another.

Generally, there are so many steps involved to clean marble. Apart from the main steps, there are still sub-steps, tasks and procedures that must be properly observed. And they are from identifying the damages to the actual cleaning up to the sealing of the marble for better protection.

However, despite everything that you must carry out, cleaning marble can be considered to be actually a simple process. You just really have to know those steps and the right way to have them implemented and you are already up to a successful cleaning. One thing to remember though is that all of those steps may require different things.

And so to put it in other words, to clean marble is simple yet not at all easy. But then, there had been many ways devised to make it an easier to implement process. One of those is to fully understand how the cleaning works before actually implementing its steps. And to help you, here are the three generalized steps of a cleaning marble process.

Pick a Cleaning Product. There are so many cleaning products for marble available today. However, you should only go for those that can produce the most benefits. And among others, green cleaners are the ones that have the greatest advantage. They are safe for human health and the environment as minimal chemicals are used in their production. And despite being "mild", they can still be very effective. To be able to identify if a product is genuinely green though, product comparison is needed and the ingredients must be one of the major basis.

Clean Efficiently and Effectively the Damaged Spot. With the green cleaning product that you have chosen, clean marble effectively and efficiently. Get this done by clearing and cleaning the area from the things that could block the complete effectiveness of the process. For example, initially clean the surface to remove debris and to allow the cleaning product to directly get into the stain. Furniture such as chairs, tables and cabinets must also be temporarily removed to give you enough space for cleaning movements. Instructions on how to use the product must also be followed for its full effects.

Prevent Future Damages. After cleaning marble, preventive steps must be executed. This is to prevent the same damages from occurring repeatedly. Basically, preventive steps before the actual cleaning will also work on this. However, in addition to those, marble surface must also be sealed for better protection and well-polished look.

In conclusion, cleaning marble is a process of many steps. Nevertheless, all those can be summarized in to three general steps for better understanding of the process. That understanding can then initiate the better implementation of the cleaning.
