The Happiness of Homeware

Submitted by DejanPetrovic

A funny thing happened the last time I went shopping for homeware. The store was having a huge clearance sale that day, and I grabbed nearly everything in sight. I had a list in my head of all the homewares my house needed. I grabbed a huge stack of mint green bath towels and a new shower head for my bathroom. For the kitchen I grabbed some pots and pans, a set of tupperware containers, and a new cookbook to add to my cookbook collection. It's funny that I collect cookbooks, because I don't really like to cook.

Next I headed to the linen department for homewares to use in my bedroom. I found a delightful canopy made of straw to hang over my bed, and a new set of silk sheets and pillowcases. I then made my way to the wall hanging homeware department. After all, I needed some new wallhangings of palm trees to go along with the new jungle theme in my bedroom. The homeware selections in this department were so cheaply priced, that my cart was soon loaded to the top. I could barely push it to the check out line.

I then spotted my husband. "Honey! I yelled "Help me with all these homewares I bought!" He graciously agreed to help me, so I left the cart with him, and proceeded to the next store for their clearance sale. Later I walked to the parking lot, and saw my husband sitting patiently in the car. When we got home, my husband carried all the homewares into the house, and I followed anxiously behind him. When we got inside and started unpacking all the bags, to my surprise I discovered that my husband must have grabbed someone else's shopping cart full of homewares, thinking it was ours.

Whiteport is a way of life; stylish, relaxed and comfortable. We believe every product we sell should improve your way of living. Our mission is to inspire a Whiteport lifestyle in every home using our homewares.
