The Cavewoman and Homewares
When the head of household leaves the cave to forage for food, the cavewoman stays behind with the kiddies with a warm fire burning brightly. Since it's the mating season for T-Rex, it's not fit for caveman, woman nor most other beasts to venture too far from the cave. Still, there's the laundry and dishes to do and the bearskin rugs to shake out in the fresh air. The thing about bear hide is the long drying time. Still, it's better than bare cave floor. Of all the cavewoman's homewares, the homeware she favors most is her set of handcarved, sturdy oak bowls and drinking cups. They're unbreakable and with kids underfoot most days, also a great convenience. Whenever a side of tricertops is cooked over their open fire, long wooden serving platters make meals easier too. Scouring the roasted remains is simple---just a bit of sand in a doeskin pouch and it's like new again.

The Great Elkskin Water Sac
Thanks to her cave spouse, the modern cavewoman stores water in elk skin sacs, another helpful homeware. So, there's always an ample supply of water when needed. Elkskin also makes a great receptacle for storing other things too like long wooden needles and soft elk gut threads. Elkskin is soft, pliable and easy to launder. And, it makes a great undergarment when the weather is cold.

Homewares for the Caveman
The busy caveman also has his favorite homewares. He can carve out niches in the cave walls with his favorite stone and hide mallet. Sometimes, his cavewife uses it to tenderize tough meat. A few whacks and meat is tender and highly disgestible. It's great for cracking open nuts too. The kids love them for a treat.
