Naruto the anime is watched by millions of people around the world and has grown into a household name virtually over night. Comparable to that of Akira Toriama's Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, Naruto is the top anime of 2007. Being the hugely popular anime that it is, there are practical tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of fans trying their best to sketch, draw, and even paint out their of versions of the anime superstar. But how would you like to have a huge advance compared to everyone? All you have to do is read this article, and you will be on your way to many successful Naruto drawings.

The Face
This article,"How To Draw Naruto | The Head", is an explanation that will teach you how to draw Naruto's face facing directly toward you. When beginning the drawing, the first thing you should do is to lightly sketch out an outline of the of the face. Make sure you lightly sketch it out, because you will be doing a considerable amount of erasing, especially if you're a beginner. It's good to start at the hair line. Slowly and lightly take your pencil, start from the upper left hand corner of the face and draw a slightly curved line from left to right. The curve must be upward. Next draw a mixture between a "U" and a "v" underneath the top line, that will serve as the side of the face, jaw and chin. If you're drawing isn't looking to good, keep at it. Only continue until it looks good enough for you.

The Face - Eyes, Nose, Mouth, Ears and Markings.
Great, if you've made it this far you are ready to put the eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and the markings onto the face. First up, the eyes. Naruto's eyes are basically uneven ovals. So sketch them out until you see that they look just about right. Next sketch out the eyebrows and wrinkles. Under each eye draw the three lines that seems to represent whiskers. After that draw the nose and the mouth. Make sure to position the nose in the middle of the face. In some cases the drawing would look better if the nose was moved at a slightly lower position. Next is the mouth. The easiest mouth to draw is a closed mouth, which would consist of a somewhat curved line and some wrinkles. But if you're interested in drawing an open mouth here are the steps. An open mouth looks just like the letter "D" turned on its side. Make sure not to make it look completely like the letter "D", but use it like a guide and don't forget to draw the teeth, tongue, and wrinkles around the mouth. Next is the ears. Ears are also very easy to draw. Pretend they are question marks without the dot. You are now done with the face.

The Head band and Hair
Now you are ready for the head band. The hand band starts at the top of the face. The closest shape that the head band resembles is the rectangle. So sketch a rectangle very lightly then erase and modify the rectangle so that is looks more look the headband. If you need a reference search for Naruto images. The hair is also very simple to draw. The hair looks like a spiky bush. Make very lightly strokes with your pencil when drawing the hair. After you have completed the hair you're done. Now you should darken the drawing and you would have successfully completed your drawing. Remember to keep practicing and you will great better.
