4) Car Air Conditioning - Air conditioning systems first appeared in cars in 1939. These systems were expensive, large and relatively inefficient. It wasn't until the 1980's that car air conditioning systems became affordable, small and commonplace.

5) Modern Day Air Conditioning - These days, air conditioning systems can be found in almost every building whether they be commercial, industrial or residential. Air conditioning systems have become modern, convenient, small and affordable to everyone. The technology has also continued to develop with systems getting more powerful and cheaper to run every year.
