Try to tell them that you are trying to put the unit in a spot that will cause the least disturbance for them. Have a look where the bedrooms in their house are located and try to avoid the unit's noise getting anywhere near these rooms. Having an open and polite discussion with your neighbour may save years of heartache and disputes down the track.

Moving - If you are not sure about all of these steps, consider the alternative.
