Gas Pressure Washers — Unlimited Mobility

Submitted by LaurenZwiebel

Gas pressure washers are often used outdoors, usually where electric power washers do not run due to power supply issues. In the U.S.A., gasoline is one of the easiest available fuels. It makes sense to invest in gas pressure washers if your contract cleaning work takes you to places where electrical outlets are not available.
Gas power washers offer the best option for cleaning concrete, road surfaces, sidewalks, construction sites, agricultural buildings and equipment, and more. Such pressure washers may even be used for cleaning boat decks, seaside docks and marinas.
One of the biggest advantages of gas power washers is the mobility they offer. Gas power washers do not have power cords and can cover unlimited distances. Another advantage is that gas pressure washers are designed for outdoor use and they are wheeled or trailer mountable configurations which can be easily moved around small and large areas.
A Gas Pressure Washer Also Offers Many Other Benefits:
  • Powerful Cleaning:High power washers that run on gasoline may have pressure levels as high as 3500 psi, Such high pressure levels are suitable for removing grease, oil, mud, and stains off sidewalks, walls, concrete, and granite. These power washers usually have powerful engines of more than 15 HP, sometimes as much as 18 HP.
  • Temperature Options: Advanced high power washers have multiple temperature options. You can use these machines for washing with cold water, hot water, or steam output. Many power washers achieve temperatures of up to 330°F. Hot water and steam offer greater cleaning power, with steam output providing the greatest power for removal of grease. This makes these pressure washers ideal for cleaning gas stations, construction sites, and heavy machinery. Cold water is used for cleaning farm tools, roads, and walkways. In addition, the heating coils heat water in as little as 30 seconds.
  • Wet Steam: Water pressure washers, whether gas , generate wet steam, unlike vapor steam cleaners that give rise to dry steam. Wet steam is more effective in tackling demanding applications like heavy-duty degreasing and industrial cleaning, while steam cleaners cover only small areas. In addition, steam cleaners require constant rubbing with a detailing brush, which often leaves scratch marks on paint and damage finished surfaces.
It is important to note that gas pressure washers do generate exhaust. For this reason, they should not be used indoors or in non-ventilated areas.
Other features of advanced gas pressure washers include extended hose technologies and detergent injection. Use of extended hoses can help with cleaning indoors by placing the gas powered unit in an exhaust friendly location, like outside, and reaching applications indoors with up to 300 feet of pressure hose. Detergent injection can also be beneficial in increase the cleaning power for specific applications. However, no additional detergents are necessary, as the power of wet steam can tackle demanding degreasing applications.
