As a matter of fact, the floor occupies a great space in your room and can influence the atmosphere of the entire space. For instance, an orange floor will create warmth and will induce a state of happiness, while a blue floor will create a secluded mood and will cool down the atmosphere. Red floors tend to raise the blood pressure, so it is not really recommended for those that have health issues. Yellow floors might be refreshing, but it all depends on the shade of yellow. Ocher is a nice color and has a smoothing effect.

The house floors can be manufactured in different materials such as wood, stone, metal beam, laminated wood, plywood or fiberboard and even glass. Each of these materials has their advantages and disadvantages. For instance, wooden house floors look really well, but these are expensive and when they get older they will surely squeak, which can be very annoying. Squeaking floors can be fixed, but some do not bother about that.

On the other hand, the concrete floors won't squeak even if they are antique, but the construction of these is difficult and highly expensive. Concrete floors might also necessitate some alteration in the building structure. Glass floors are very fancy but require a great deal of work and thus these are also expensive items. Some people even prefer to put an entire aquarium in the construction of the floor, which can create an interesting atmosphere.
However, you are the one who will decide on the way your floor look. You can use your imagination and create a special floor that will say some things about your personality, or you can choose regular floors that are available in the specialists’ stores.
