How to Maximize the Performance of Pressure Washers

Submitted by LaurenZwiebel

Pressure washers are the most powerful cleaning devices available on the market today. They come in several different models and brands. If you look around a cleaning accessory store or conduct a quick search on the internet, you can spot a number of different types of devices: for example, electric pressure washers, commercial pressure washers, industrial pressure washers, gas pressure washers, and water pressure washers. Before we examine how to maximize the performance of these machines, it is important to understand the different applications and users.

Who Uses Pressure Washers

Pressure washer users and their corresponding applications can be divided into three broad categories:

1.Home users utilize pressure washing machines for lighter, less demanding applications.

2.Professional cleaning agencies and commercial businesses require more durable, heavy-duty equipment for more demanding applications.

3.Industrial organizations experience the most challenging applications requiring the most powerful pressure washers available.

The Need for Heavy Duty Devices

Both professional cleaning agencies and cleaning departments in industrial facilities require heavy duty pressure washers. This is where the performance and effectiveness of the device count the most. The equipment should be able to remove all types of stains and impurities from the surface. In industrial settings, grease marks and paint stains are common residues that need to be removed. One can eliminate such impurities quickly by applying high pressure and high temperature levels.

The temperature and pressure levels vary across different brands and even across different models of a single brand. The latest models can reach a pressure of up to 8000 psi and a temperature up to 330°F. High temperature levels work to dissolve stubborn stains while high pressure levels work to blast away deposits.

Even though such powerful machines are available, matching the power options to the application at hand will maximize productivity. For example, degreasing will require pressure washers with temperatures reaching 330°F and higher pressure levels around 3000 psi.

How to Improve Efficiency

The development of new technologies has improved the overall efficiency of pressure washer devices. Selecting a device that offers new technologies will maximize the performance of the cleaning process. The following are some of the groundbreaking technologies in this field.

1.Tri-mode features

2.Automatic shut-off technology

3.Use of green chemicals

Tri-Mode Feature

A conventional pressure washer provides one of three types of outputs: cold water, hot water, or steam. While cold water is ideal for lighter applications, hot water and steam are suitable for hard to remove stains and challenging applications. In other words, the higher the temperature of the output, the higher the output power will be.

If you have to use both hot water and steam during a single cleaning job, it is better to opt for tri-mode model. A device having the tri-mode feature provides all three kinds of outputs - cold water, hot water, and steam. That means one can use a single machine to clean virtually any surface by matching the temperature level to the application at hand.

Automatic Shut-Off Technology

This technology is ideal for devices that are used to clean a large area. Operators generally use a long hose while cleaning large rooms. The automatic shut-off technology automatically switches off the machine when it does not detect any output through the hose for 30 seconds to prevent wear and tear on key components. This would allow the operator to take breaks without having to return to the device each time they want to stop working.

Green Chemicals

Many tests have proven that using green chemicals along with pressure washers is more efficient and environmentally friendly than using chemical detergents.

Not only will this increase the power of any pressure washer, put it will leave commercial and industrial facilities safe for customers and employees. As an added bonus, use of green chemicals reduces costs associated with disposal of harmful chemical agents.

Daimer industry offers the most effective pressure washer and carpet cleaners for best auto detailing equipment in the industry along with special electric pressure washer for mobile car wash, portable car wash equipment to leave the vehicle interiors drier.
