I Can't Imagine My Life Without My Spice Rack

Like lots of people, until recently, I kept all my kitchen spices in a cupboard near the stove. Every time I wanted to use them -- usually several times per day -- I had to tote them all out and arrange them on the counter and make a big mess. Then, more likely than not, the spices ended up staying on the counter and cluttering up the kitchen.

Recently, I purchased a spice rack, and now I can't imagine my life without it! It's pretty much the most useful homeware product out there for anyone who enjoys cooking. Any time I want to select a spice, I just rotate the rack until I locate the label of the one I need, and then when I'm done with it, I just stick it back in the correct spot. There is no mess or clutter, and the spice rack takes up only a small area on my kitchen counter. I also discovered that I was able to free up a lot of cupboard space that I can now use for storage.

You can pick and choose among a number of different features on your homeware spice rack -- some are actually electric and rotate at the push of a button. This is quite useful if you are going to be cooking with a very large number of different spices. Some come complete with matching spice bottles that are already filled with spices, while others are merely a homewares rack upon which you can place the bottles you already own. I ended up buying one with filled spice bottles, and I discovered that it was a great way to encourage me to use new and different spice combinations in my cooking!
