Rosenthal Designing Phases

Submitted by prabakar

Rosenthal Studio-Line Dinnerware TAC 02 Weiss Salad / Dessert Plate - TAC is true to Walter Gropius' principles. Built on geometric forms, the simple circle and the seamless globe are the primary inspirations for this modern, streamlined collection. The ancient shape of the Chinese tea bowl had been the source of inspiration for Walter Gropius. Purist design, based on simple geometric shapes, lends TAC a timeless poetry. Decors on slightly translucent porcelain emphasize the features of this icon of Bauhaus design.

Rosenthal and we immediately imagine luxurious, durable and simply beautiful china. This trading mark can be named one of Germany's most prestigious porcelain manufacturers. It is possible to meet Rosenthal items in the most exquisite and expensive restaurants worldwide. Thomas is a collection of porcelain owned by Rosenthal. The superior quality and innovative designs are well know connoisseurs and chefs worldwide.

Rosenthal China, "Studio Line" 124 piece, dinner service for twelve. The nicest of the very hi-style "modern" design made famous after WWII by the world ren own German porcelain manufacturer Rosenthal. This extensive dinner service was purchased by an American soldier stationed in Germany in the 1950's and purchased by us from his family. The design is delicate gray and tan grasses on a white background with fine gold trim.

The organic, time-worn shapes of boulders inspired Rosenthal's award-winning Suomi dinnerware, created by the noted Scandinavian designer Timo Sarpaneva. Now the collection is available in a new Celebration pattern, with delicate plants silhouetted in platinum and gold against the smooth white porcelain.
