Sambonet Venice Spoon

Submitted by prabakar

Sambonet Twist cutlery features an elegant silhouette, and this aesthetic looking set is characterised by a light and well-defined torsion movement. The handle’s ergonomic design makes it easy to use and the cutlery adjusts well to the hand. Twist is a harmonious blend of functionality and style that brings the gourmet closer to culinary joys. It is available in high-gloss stainless steel and silver-plate.

Characterized by a beautiful, clean silhouette, the IMAGINE collection belongs to Sambonet's time-inspired design of new flatware. This collection features both elegance and a sleek design which is enhanced by the bright shine of the material with a curved, yet gracious look. An immaculate example of tradition blended with modern design, this is the perfect choice for every occasion. Sambonet piece is made individually from the highest grade 18/10 stainless steel, with forged carbon blades that never need sharpening. All pieces are dishwasher safe. Five-piece set includes (shown left to right) salad fork, dinner fork, knife, dinner spoon, and tea spoon.

The history of Sambonet began almost 200 years ago when Giuseppe Sambonet, the son of a goldsmith, founded the company to supply tableware to Italian nobles including the Count of Turin and the Duchess of Genoa. Located in Orfengo, 60 miles east of Turin on the way to Milan, Sambonet was the first company in Europe to manufacture stainless steel flatware and, to this day, continues the tradition of innovation with three designs displayed in MoMA’s permanent collection in New York.
