Waterproof canvas , like other coverings, are used for various different reasons. You can use a canvas tarpaulin to protect a loaded truck bed, as an outdoor canopy, as a tent accessory, and in many other outdoor situations. Canvas coverings are made to be waterproof like most other covers and are also made of ultraviolet ray resistant fabrics. The UVI treated tarps are great for any sort of outdoor adventure. These tarps will come in many colors and patterns and a host of different sizes. Tarps that are made of canvas are some of the most versatile covers of today's world. They are strong enough to resist almost any weather condition and they are also available in flame retardant material as well. That means no campfire accidents on account of your canvas tarpaulin. These high quality tarps will also be supplied in many different lengths and widths to fit your various needs.

Canvas waterproof coverings are made to the highest specifications. This is so much so that they exceed the NFPA 701 standards. All of the flame resistant canvas tarpaulins are certified by the California State Fire Marshall. So, you can be assured that any canvas coverings you buy is well checked and certified before it comes to you. The flame retardant lumber tarps are made especially for the transportation of lumber and they come in various weights, colors, and sizes. Canvas covers are great for protection both inside and outside.

If you are using one of these tarpaulins to protect something that you are hauling in the back of your truck, you will not have to worry about the security of your load. The Canvas material is quite heavy and will stay in play without a lot of complicated securing. These covers fit well over any curved surface and are also less slippery than other disposable plastic tarps. This makes them a safer style of tarp with less chance of personal injury. If you are a camper, you may already know that some of the best tents are made from canvas. If you do a lot of camping then you may already have your handy supply of tarps.

Often folks will use tarpaulins made from canvas for covering vintage cars where special care is required to protect delicate paintwork surfaces. The canvas product is also used as drop cloths when painters decorate a home where care is need so that paint will not stain carpets or wooden flooring. Canvas tarpaulins are also often used to cover boats as they are available in blue which tends to be a popular color to cover boats.

Another feature of canvas tarpaulins is the fact that they are very environmentally friendly being made of natural fiber i.e. cotton. Although this type of tarpaulin is very durable it will eventually degrade and rot therefore doing no harm to the environment. Also the product blends very well with its natural surroundings as canvas is usually tan or sand in color. Canvas covers are also suitable for covering up an item that you need to breathe as unlike plastic tarps canvas tarpaulins do not cause condensation.

Most pre made canvas tarpaulins are imported from India and made to very high standards with reinforced hems and brass grommets spaced at every eighteen inch's.
