Without verification of an alarm, there is no priority for the police to go and check.

To achieve this you can look for a system with web cams or professional IP cameras, that preferably store the images off-site. I say Off-site because that is the only safe place for your camera images whenever a burglar is in your house or office. Besides it will also make sure that a maximum number of people can see the images whenever they have a mobile Internet connection or a computer available. Making sense to be able to take the proper action.

Ever been burglarized and the alarm set off. Watch how many people will come to your place. With a 98% accuracy NO-ONE.

Why? You ask. Well simply because it can be very dangerous to stop a burglar. So you need to check without entering your home, for your own security. Having a video recorder is fine, but if you can only see it when you are at home and it is not stolen in the process makes very little sense to me.

My advice: Get some IP-cameras and store the images off-site. It is really not that expensive $ 0,5 a day, and once you get to live with this security, you will wonder how did I ever live without it.

Some systems may even send sms alarm messages upon storage of images, thus warning you of an alarm situation.
