A major concern, especially if you have children at home, is that the house is safe and does not create unexpected and perhaps avoidable dangers.

Pots forgotten on the fire, water taps and gas taps left open, households used even if wet and then turned off by puling the wire off the plug…Italians are careless, borderline recklessness. This is what the first annual Censis report on security level in Italy reveals: in the house much more accidents occur than on the road or at work.

Beyond comfort, it is also important that the house is safe. Gas and electrical system must be according to law, electrical equipments must be used with care, fireplaces and boilers must be in accordance with the best practice. But this is not all. Care and attention are essential to prevent also the numerous other hidden dangers in the house, depending on the age of inhabitants.

To prevent these terrible cases, gas sensors are very useful, they detect whether there is gas in the environment. Given the high number of accidents and the high risk entailed b possible gas leakages, it is very important that all the houses are equipped with this device. In the same way if you have to buy a new kitchen, make sure that it is equipped with anti gas leakage safety device, so that if the flames goes off, also the gas supply is interrupted.

Gas is without doubts the greatest source of fire danger in the house, because once is mixed with the oxygen in the air, it may ignite in the presence even of a small heat source. In some particular conditions, it may even explode and cause serious damages to both structures of the house and those nearby, if not their complete destruction.
For these reasons, gas detection equipments should be present in every house.

Reported data are alarming enough: even 4 million accidents a year against the three hundred thousand in the car, causing about 8,000 deaths. Three out of ten Italians are involved, one out of two is still at risk. The percentage increases for housewives and for the inhabitants of the center-south. Among the most insidious places the first is the kitchen, the pot left on the fire is the most common distraction. Following there is the living room and the other rooms.

The anti vibrating systems are very useful, they can absorb noise and vibration. Vibrations generated by many types of machines are harmful to humans, to the stability of the structures of buildings and machinery itself.
Any vibration or impact, according to the intensity or frequency, may be eliminated or reduced with appropriate anti-vibration and vibrate-absorbing systems. These systems can be active or passive, depending on the source, eliminating the propagation through solid materials.

There are numerous steps that can and should be taken to secure our homes. Unfortunately they often cost a lot, especially because the government generally does not intervene in this area. But certainly it is worth it, because often our life and the lives of those we care may be in danger.
