You know it's time to declutter your kitchen cabinets when you open the door and everything falls out. The kitchen is the most used in my home, it's where everyone tends to congregate. Being able to have all your kitchen cabinets organized and decluttered is important in order to work efficiently and really enjoy being and working in your kitchen.

Getting started is the hard part. Take everything out of your upper cabinets. As you take everything out, create groups such as keep, donate, and yes, throw it away. That tupperware with no top.... Organize like items and sizes together. Clean your cabinet shelves and line with shelf paper. This will make putting your kitchen cabinets back together easier, organized and will help keep your kitchen cabinets decluttered. There are also so many new, inexpensive and stylish organizing products you can purchase to increase the space that you utilize Cabinet Organizers and China Racks which can add a small shelf.

Your lower kitchen cabinets can be a challenge to organize and declutter with the pots and pans and let's not forget the lids. Keep like sizes and shapes together when you put everything back in. Try to avoid stacking. This again can be accomplished with organizers, a lid organizer can tremendously help keep your lower cabinets decluttered and organized. And you can find the lid to fit the pot.

Silverware drawers can be cleaned, decluttered and organized and kept that way by using drawer organizers. The mesh drawer organizers are more preferred and easier to clean. Pick it up, shake it, wipe out the drawer.

Don't procrastinate and agonize over it. This takes more time than to organize. Once you have your kitchen cabinets decluttered and organized, you will love spending time in the kitchen and you will even be able to find that platter you haven't seen in years.
