NeoCon 2007 Trade Show (Chicago, IL), June 2007 – this is the first year for Glass plus Glass presenting the Muvis, motorized lighting fixtures with the remote control, on the US Architectural lighting market and it was an honor to receive Silver Award for the Innovations in lighting industry at the World’s Trade Fair NeoCon 2007.

Glass plus Glass is a US Innovative Lighting & Contemporary Glass Lighting Company headquartered in New York City and manufacture in Pittsburgh PA and it was the fifth trade show for the past year, which brought tour booth a lot of great people, architectural, designers, companies, and great new friends from both East and West coasts.
MUVIS – THE FIRST light in movement, designed to revolutionize the concept of lighting, it is a complete technological innovation with infinite number of lighting combinations. “It was a big challenge for us to show this new product, which is a first product of “Light in Motion” line and just happened to be totally different from our classic product line - collection of contemporary Murano glass chandeliers.” noticed Glass plus Glass Vice-President Alexandra Stchastlivtseva. “But we were very satisfied with the results of the show and the positive feedbacks on Muvis that came right after the first sales. We think that we have reached our target and found the one right fixture that suits both commercial and hospitality designs.”

A sophisticated mechanism allows Muvis light source to be guided along two axes, each having a range of motion of over 180°. Thanks to remote control each lamp responds to commands given within a distance of 40 meters and each chosen setting (position, intensity and color of the light) can be memorized, the system is able to memorize up to 20 different lighting combinations. Each lamp comes equipped with energy-saving devices that guarantee low energy consumption. As of today we provide Muvis in 4 basic colors and supply GU10 base halogen bulbs in different color.
