How To Throw A Lego Party For Your Child

Submitted by BenCap17

A Lego party is one of the most popular themes a kid might want to have for his or her birthday. If your little one asks for such, fret not. Pulling off such event is rather simple as your inspiration can be easily found in your youngster's toy box. Below are some basic ideas in coming up with one.

Letting everyone know of the event is of course the first step to take. There are so many invitation ideas to choose from. For instance, you can print out snapshots of your child's collection of the construction set, and write in the details. You're limited by your imagination only. Also, ask the celebrant for some suggestions.

Some creativity and careful planning are required for prepping up the place. Place blue, green, red and yellow balloons around. Use the block creations of the celebrant as focal points too. If you want, you may go on the web and order Lego-related items - from silverware, plates, placemats, to props for the place.

A lot of recipes can be found online for the food. However, it's best to go for ones with colors resembling those sported by the popular blocks. For example, cake with yellow frosting or spaghetti with red sauce. Don't forget to decorate the table too with centerpieces made out of this famous construction set.

Of course no birthday bash is complete without fun games. Be inventive and add twists to the usual parlor games loved by kids. There are many unique ones too. Constructing the tallest tower or guessing how many pieces there are in a jar are just some examples.

When it comes to giveaways, you got plenty of options too. You may hand out basic construction sets or something useful, like pencils painted in bright primary colors. Don't forget to take snapshots too. The photos may be printed right away, write a small thank you note at the back, and be given as favors too.
