Many parents finding that there son or daughter have been struggling with teen drug abuse. Basically drug abuse is a catastrophic revelation. Thoughts of failure, disappointment, guilt, and embarrassment flood a parents mind. However, you must remember that you are not the only parent to face such a situation. Keeping your child away from drugs and alcohol is challenging. But with love and attention, you can do it. Your best weapon is to arm yourself with education. What substances are out there? What are the signs of abuse and addiction? If you think your child is abusing or is addicted, get help immediately and educate yourself.
