Self-esteem is described as how we feel about ourselves, which directly manifest in people's behavior and social skills. Helping children develop a positive concept about themselves is gravely important to raising happy and productive children.

Parents are instrumental to building a child's self-esteem. After all, parents are the first people that children look up to and who make them feel or realize their worth. Looking for help in parenting that would build a child's confidence can be seen as a parent's lifetime present to a child.
