Making historically based family tree without any intimation is really a rewarding and fun hobby; not to mention that it is a service to your whole family. Before making this, one should know what all has to be included in a family tree based on your family history: -

• Start by getting any of the templates relevant to family tree that will help in documenting family history. You will also be able to get decorative templates as well as basic templates. • ‘Free census records' are very difficult to locate as there is no site which does not charge for this. Though it is very hard to get census records for free, create family tree that offer all types of census records.

• Obituary is also important in finding information about past families. The details offered with obituaries should have relevant dates and names that can help you to discover your ancestors. Here, one needs to keep into consideration that locating free obituary websites is very time consuming.

• Another important thing to include in your historical tree is DNA. It was found less than sixty years ago. During 1980s connection between DNA and Genealogy was discovered that helped to prove a lineage or a family member. DNA tells where the forebears have been for last sixty thousand years. It is basically a road map to one's family history.

• Next important part of your tree is surname. Each surname possesses its unique and different meaning. One's ‘surname' is derived from patronymic name, a nickname, an occupation, or a location. So, this is good to search your history based on family surname and its meaning as well.

• Your family tree can be accomplished and displayed in different ways. There are many downloads and genealogy programs that can turn your tree into tremendous graphical art work. Software can organize the graphics so that it can be customized in order to make it appear individually yours.

• Tree clipart more relevant to your family can also be utilized to beautify the family history. Many family trees are completed through internet on computers so these can be seen by anyone. There are many great software and programs one can get for free.

Besides, include some family gifts which are unique to your family and you; like grandparents' gifts, fathers and mothers' gifts, gifts for spouse or baby gifts.
