You Must Be Aware Of Nanny SalariesSubmitted by luciletaylor Fri, 26 Jun 2009
Almost all parents have full time jobs these days and taking care of their children as well as their household duties can be a big problem. For this reason, hiring a nanny is their best option.
Working as a nanny can be very profitable if you are well-qualified. Wealth families can afford to be more discriminating in hiring an experienced and educated nanny with outstanding references. They will offer competitive nanny salaries, benefits, perks and travel but in return they will expect to have discretion and privacy from you. This simply means that when work as a full-time nanny for a well-off or famous family, you will have lesser freedom to receive regular visits from friends and families as well as have a social life. Nanny salaries will always depend on both experience and willingness to complete different tasks. High nanny salaries can be demanded by those who have years of experience. If you are highly experienced, you also have the choice not to deal with parents who are not willing to meet your expectations and demands. You should have the right pay for your services. If you are not that experienced, you can provide references from past nanny-jobs involving childcare and education. You can also improve your skills by getting a degree in health science, childcare and childhood education. Nanny salaries vary depending on the nanny's experiences as well as the location of the job. Part-time nannies are very much in-demand and most of them ask for a higher pay. Part-time nannies usually get paid $6 to $18 an hour depending on their work experiences. Full-time nannies get paid weekly. Their pay depends on their experience as well. For a live-in nanny with little to no experience, she may receive a pay of $300 per week while a highly experienced one may receive $800 per week. For a live-out nanny, she may receive $400 to $800 per week. Nanny salaries can always be negotiated but you just need to have something solid to back up your offer. It is very important to talk about the terms and conditions of your employment and be clear of what services that you need to provide and what other bonuses you can expect to receive other than your salary. There are families that offer a lower hourly rate but will provide a car or sponsor your travel costs to compensate for it. Always remember that nanny salaries vary widely and that you should carefully think about what services you are willing to give to the family. During the hiring process it is important that you mention all of your requests or concerns and make sure that all agreements are written down in the contract. Always read the contract before signing it. Get more information about Art Projects and Cross Stitch at WebArticles.com.
