Waiting for the new baby to arrive is a time fraught with a complete range of emotions including joy, mixed with some fear. For a woman experiencing her first pregnancy, she is likely to be attempting to find all the information she can get on what is to be expected during these nine months. Many websites and books have a week by week pregnancy calendar that will show the development of the fetus.

One of the things that many expectant women consistently wonder about is what their developing baby looks like. They are curious to find out when the toes appear and how soon hair develops.

When having a look at a pregnancy week by week website or calendar, a woman can find precise and detailed pictures of how the fetus looks like at every week of its development. This includes pictures from shortly after conception and footage of the fetus during pregnancy week by week till delivery.

Just as the baby grows and changes during pregnancy week by week, so does its mom. This is one of the things that expectant moms are curious about as well – their changing body. Not only does a pregnant woman's waistline expand, but her ankles may swell and she may notice changes in her hair, skin and nails.

On a pregnancy week by week calendar, a woman can find information including when she may expect these changes to happen and also methods to help her get used to the changes. Weight gain is actually only welcomed at this point in a pregnant woman's life.

One of the methods that doctors use to measure how a pregnancy is progressing is through how much weight is being put on by the expecting mom. In its initial stages of pregnancy, a mother might not gain much weight, but in the last trimester of pregnancy week by week the lady can expect to put on a substantial amount of weight.

Though the pregnancy itself is when most girls are most involved with the development of their baby, there is a lot a woman can do before conception to help guarantee that she has a healthy childbearing experience.

Being active is always vital for every woman and for someone who wants to have a baby, exercise can definitely help. The way in which a woman exercises when she is expecting may change but there are definitely many ways of which she can do to help stay in shape during her pregnancy week by week till the baby arrives. Be it walking, swimming or yoga, each activity has many advantages for both mother and baby alike.
