Summer Camps Youth In Canada Builds Potent Bridges Between Father And Son

Submitted by writeragain

The twenty-first century father has a very different life compared to his ancestors. The electronic age has taken away the opportunity for fathers and sons to bond and grow as a team. Busy with work, dad may not even live with the family. Summer Camps Youth in Canada provides fathers and sons the chance to get to know each far away from the ring of cell phones, and TV. They will go to a place where time as we know it is not the same. They will learn about nature's time schedule through wilderness survival.

The electronic world has become a place full of distractions. The irony is that man has built tools for better communication but it has become harder to communicate between each other at a personal level. People are occupied with looking in their email in-box, or downloading apps into their cell phones.

Father's find that their children are growing up fast and they don't really know who they are. They don't understand the world the kids are living in because they are learning how to live in it themselves amid the rapidly changing technology.

Kids spend most of their day looking into screens. Their brains are fine tuned to nano-focusing so that the world at large is just in the background. They text message in the school bus and play video games when home from school. They watch TV while eating their chicken pieces at a fast food restaurant. Conversation skills have been eclipsed by fast fingers pushing buttons on a keyboard.

The parent is perplexed and wondering where they fit in as a parent. The answer is to find the answer to that question in the world of nature far away from the noise and distraction of electronics. The Wilhite Wilderness Children's Ministry has developed a father-son program that includes learning how to develop the father-son relationship while learning how to canoe, fish, camp and hike.

Many of us do not know how to listen. We are so concerned with our agenda that we do not consider anyone else's. The journey that will be started in Canada will help them to learn that little needs to be said. A touch or a word is all that is needed to let the other know how they feel. These gestures carry great power and like building back links to sites online the parent and child are building link love between each other.

Father and son can finally get to meet each other in the Canadian wilderness where they can create memories that will last a lifetime. Through witnessing how nature's harmony works they can learn how to create harmony between themselves. With no buttons to push they will learn that relationship building requires teamwork.

Fathers and sons meeting and connecting at Summer Camps Youth in Canada may be experiencing bonding for the first time in their lives. The popularity of the program attests to the fact that there is a need to provide this opportunity. The group is kept intentionally small so registering early is highly recommended. The wilderness is there for all to enjoy and tap into. Healthy and pristine, it beckons us to return every year. Learn more at http://www.wildernessjourneyoffaith.com/.
