You need to have a list of people to whom you can market your goods. The list does not have to be a large list but it needs to be a few hundred to begin with. This is a better means of attracting people to your list. Probably the best way to build your list is to social network. Social networking can be done by joining a social website where people just get together to make friends and network. Forums are different because there are topics for discussion where comments are expected to be made about the subject at hand. Inappropriate comments are not invited. On forums you have to be topic specific, but nevertheless, if you have a good opportunity, people are bound to be interested in what you might have to offer.
