Many people tell me that you can make money as an affiliate marketer, which is all true. I am not going to gainsay that fact. But if you take a different look at the whole idea of affiliate marketing, you will see why it is not as lucrative a deal as it is supposed to be. Let’s just say that a popular product hits the market and you want to promote it. Fine, but do you think that you would be the only player who is going to promote it? Not at all, what is more, besides not being the only promoter, you would probably be in competition with some of the biggest names in this field. You are going to go head to head with people who must have some of the biggest ad lists in the field, probably running into hundreds of thousands. In simple terms, this means that your share of the pie is going to be really small.

If you are not a good copywriter, then it is a very good idea to get someone else to do it for you. There are a lot of good copywriters out there, including myself, who do not charge astronomical fees for undertaking the job.
