How to Find the Best Paid Online Surveys in the UKSubmitted by JonShapiro Tue, 22 Sep 2009
These days more and more market research companies are using the internet and specifically paid online surveys to get consumer feedback on new products and services. As an incentive most offer rewards in the form of cash, vouchers or entry in to prize draws. However, you do need to be able to spot the good from the time wasters. Below are the main points to watch out for.
Most people's motivation for doing surveys is, let's be honest, to get paid. Therefore the priority must be to find the sites that actually pay cash. The majority pay by vouchers for high street shops or by entering participants into a prize draw. A small minority will pay you in points, which once your account has reached a certain level or threshold, redeem these for payment in the form of a PayPal payment, bank transfer or cheque. The next thing to look for is the payout threshold. If it is too high then you may have to wait 6 months or more to reach it. Many quality sites will only send you several survey invitations per month. They may pay well, be fun to do and regular but it will be impossible to get any reward for some time. One of the biggest complaints by survey takers is getting screened out. Obviously the market research company only want to pay for accurate and reliable info. However many sites only evaluate this by making you start the survey and complete a percentage of it before informing you that you no longer qualify. Needless to say this can be very frustrating after 30 or 40 minutes in front of the pc. Do your homework on paid surveys UK and find out if panelists or members have left feedback on the net have had problems with this. The last thing to mention is you need to be patient. Surveys are never going to make you rich over night. In the beginning you will need to reach payout thresholds so it will take a while but providing you have joined a number of sites you should get paid by several at the same time after a couple of months. It may be tempting to tick all the interest boxes when you sign up, thinking you will get more surveys sent to you but these survey sites aren't fools and will spot it. So above all be honest.
