Online Profits or Bust!

You're running an online business. Like any legitimate business opportunity, it needs some money to run. You must pay for things like web hosting and advertising. You pour all your effort, working as much as possible and learning as many new things as possible, in hopes that you will make a profit from your business. However, the money you have spent on this business far exceeds your earnings, if you have even made any at all. Does this case sound familiar?

Anyone running an online business is trying to make a profit from their business. While plenty of people succeed at this, many will fail in their efforts. What happens to aspiring online business owners who fail to make a profit?

Let's think of a typical aspiring online business owner and call him Joe. He gave his business all of his effort, but he still failed to earn money from his business. All of his investment goes down the drain. For some business owners this is not a lot of money, but Joe spent a lot of money for his. And along with the money spent lost goes all the time and effort that Joe wasted. It's all down the drain. Every bit of effort, every second, every desire to succeed was all a waste.

Joe can also kiss all of his dreams associated with his online business goodbye that he had. Dreams of working for himself, dreams of having more family time, dreams of having more money than his job ever paid...they were all for nothing. Joe's confidence took a serious toll as well.

The punishment and cost of failure doesn't end there. Joe got a lot of negative criticism from his friends and family when they heard of his online business. They all try to convince our aspiring online business owner that everything is a scam, and that he was wasting his time and money. Since Joe failed to make a profit, he essentially did nothing but prove his friends and family correct. He can do nothing but face the harsh criticism to come. His wife probably has some choice words of her own when she finds out of his failure, his wasted time, and worse, his wasted money.

After everything settles down, our failed business owner is left with nothing bitter memories of wasted time and money, with the humiliation and shame of failure, and the idea that it truly is impossible to earn money online.

Sound scary? Well I hope I motivated you to double your efforts so you don't end up like Joe. Because every day, an aspiring online business owner will fail and end up like Joe. Will it be you that is next?
