Website Book Publishing Secrets

A website to publish eBooks should be designed with two objectives: Bringing in traffic and advancing the sale. Everything you do on your site boils down to one of these topics.

As far as bringing in traffic goes, your website to publish your e-Book should be filled with quality content that is written to target specific keywords that people are actually searching for. Spend some time and do research to find popular phrases. Without such an effort, you end up with a whole bunch of content written in a way that is unlikely to generate traffic, and what is the point of writing content that nobody is going to read?

Next, it is important that you host enough content to make your site interesting, and promote it in a way that generate lots of back-links from relevant websites. Ignore the single page sales letter, and build a website that gives enough information to establish credibility for your product. If you fail to achieve this goal, obtaining back-links from relevant websites will be difficult because who wants to link to a boring website?

Finally, lay your site out to steer the visitors onto the sales page(s) of your website. If your goal is to write and publish your e book from your website, design your website to generate traffic, and then steer that traffic onto the sales pages of your site. Such a strategy is the optimal way to promote an eBook you have written and published on your own because it will set you up for long term results. Forget PPC, and build a content filled website, and optimize it for the most important keywords. The final result will be targeted traffic and sales.
