Google Arbitrage - A Closer Look

Google Arbitrage and Virtual Real Estate

Arbitrage? Sounds like big sea bird or something

What is Google Arbitrage? Arbitrage is an e-commerce model or process of buying low cost Google Adwords ads and directing them to an informational page with good content that also includes Google Adsense ads on it. The intent is having people click on the adsense ads and making a profit on the spread between the costs of the Adwords ad and the payout of the Adsense ad. It is sometimes referred to as virtual real estate because you create real estate on the internet where you can sell space for advertisers to put there ads like billboards along the highway but in this case the internet.

If planned and tested well it can be a very profitable way to make an income. The trick is finding the right set of low cost keywords and creating an ad that will get clicked on. The page that the user is directed too needs to have good content otherwise Google is likely to disallow or bump you completely form the Adsense program. If you create your virtual real estate website that has good content on it yet not too good so that the visitor will want to click on the Adsense ads, then Google Arbitrage trading can earn a tidy stream of income. A good campaign could earn you several hundred dollars a month to over $1,000.00 a month.

Some important rules to follow would be:

1. Test your idea or campaign
2. Limit your budget during the testing, to see how it is going to perform
3. If it works, then let it run, if it doesn't, close it down
4. Watch it close for the 1st 200 clicks to see what happens

Other rules to follows would be:

1. Make sure on the page you have content that adds value for the user.
2. You may need to have at least one link on the page that for the user to get off the page
* This could be to an outside page including such things as affiliate links
* This could also be to just another page on your site
3. Information I've read leads me to believe that limiting the number of Adwords and having those add close to the top of the page is more profitable. That seems to be only showing the highest paying ads from Google so the user doesn't get distracted and click on the lower paying ads.
4. Make your page very plain so that the Adsense Ads stands out.
5. Don't click on your Adsense ads or Google will shut you down. Instead, copy and past the display URL into the address bar if you want to see what the ad site is about.

Some good keyword research tools can be very helpful in putting your Google Arbitrage program(s) together. Coming up with the ideas and focusing on the right demographic is another part of putting a good campaign together. Some software programs will allow you to see what ads are running on Adwords to aid you in researching the idea or niche you are planning on using. They speed up your keyword research considerably and allow you to easily format your keywords for use with Google Adwords. One such program is Keyword Elite by Bryxen Software. I'm sure there are others but this is one of the best. You can get to Keyword Elite by visiting the Utah SEO Expert website along with other useful software to help you maximize your efforts and reduce the amount of time needed to put an good virtual real estate and Google Arbitrage program together.

If you need some help finding a niche idea well you can get one every day from http://www.nicheaday.com. If you register with them they will send you a niche idea every day like clockwork.

Well if you done have automated tools then you can use the good old free keyword research tools and look at the Google Adwords sponsored ads that come up when you search on the keyword. Regardless of the method with a little hard work and some testing and using common sense you can create a Google Arbitrage campaign that will make you some good money.

What does Google think of Google Arbitrage? Arbitrage in the form I've mentioned above is viewed by Google as a valid business model. So now you know it a valid business model go get started and make some money the Google Arbitrage way.
